Job Search Strategies & COVID-19 times
You came to Australia full of hope in finding a job or to change your career? Besides the general challenge in finding a job in a new country, COVID-19 interfered into your plans and made it even difficult…You are not alone, do not give up!
In a circle of like-minded peers, we discuss your challenges and improve your job search strategies. In this interactive session you can expect to hear about:
- How to strategically approach job search
- COVID-19 job search challenges
- How to network virtually
In these uncertain times, job search can be challenging, but let us take this opportunity to refocus and concentrate on how we can change our situation.
This women-only event is organized by Not-for-Profit Key Into Australia, a support network for women who have moved from overseas to start a new life in Australia. We connect women who are -more or less- new here to meet, befriend and support each other. This session is part of our Skill Share project, where women share their knowledge and skills to support each other.
3 participants will be offered a private session to discuss their job search plan with career expert Maria Vaskova, as part of Key Into Australia’s Skill Share project. To be eligible, you need to register interest at the end of the session.
Please note the event is online and we will send you a Zoom link after registration.
